Giulio D'Anna

12 November
Podium Mozaiek, Amsterdam

In O O O O O O O by choreographer Giulio D'Anna eight young performers from different European countries share their most intimate moments with the audience. For the performance Giulio collected their personal stories about broken intimacy inspired by 'the museum of broken relationship' in Zagreb. The desire of sharing personal memories, challenging the limit of what is comfortable and what is private, leads to the creation of a series of living documents of emotions that cannot be translated in words. The performers embrace the idea of exposing their feelings and memories as a sort of ritual, a cathartic ceremony.

"O O O O O O O is a real post-modern musical, which leaves the spectator with winged feet and the head full of thoughts." Marinella Guatterini, 2013
