Productiehuis
Dansateliers wil makers steunen in hun ontwikkeling met korte of langere onderzoeksprojecten, met samenwerkingen en workshops. In het productiehuis van Dansateliers wordt met een klein aantal makers in langere trajecten gewerkt, waarin verschillende projecten elkaar aanvullen. Zo kan worden gewerkt aan het verder ontwikkelen van de eigen signatuur, het spelen voor een breder publiek, het produceren van een volwaardige productie, die ook buiten de studio wordt gepresenteerd.
Voor deze langere trajecten selecteert Dansateliers markante, communicatieve, speelse makers met een eigen interpretatie van het begrip dans in het theater. Kunstenaars die boeien, uitdagen, ontroeren met eigenzinnig, theatraal fysiek werk.
Dansateliers aims to support makers in their development through research projects, collaborations and workshops. Some makers are invited for a longer collaboration in the Dansateliers production house, in which different kinds of projects are complementary. The goals are further development of one’s own signature, performing for a broader audience, producing a finished production for the theatre, possible touring to other venues. For these prolonged working periods Dansateliers selects makers who have commanded attention because of their specific, communicative, playful skills, artists who bring a personal interpretation of the concept of dance to the theatre, who fascinate, challenge and move the audience with their specific, theatrical and physical work.

Tabea Martin
Tabea Martin is een van die makers. Ze gaat nu een productie maken die is geïnspireerd door het begrip ‘woede’. Eerder wijdde ze daar al een onderzoek aan, dat lichte en humorvolle, maar ook heel heftige taferelen opleverde. In deze productie voor het theater werkt ze verder met o.a. de resultaten van dat onderzoek en met een grotere cast. Ontploft het helemaal, blijft het speels, indringend, subtiel, wordt het politiek?
Tabea Martin is one of those makers. She is going to produce new work, inspired by the theme ‘rage’. She researched that subject before in a studio project, which resulted in scenes which were both light and humorous, but also extreme. With a larger cast she will expand the research in a theatre production. Will it all explode, remain playful, intense and subtle, will it become political?
